Running update

As promised, Im trying my hardest to keep this blog updated. Struggles and triumphs, they will all be on here! Wednesday, I did run 6 miles! It took me a little over an hour, but I accomplished my goal! I had to walk a small part of it also. I was completely exhausted after it was over. In fact, I feel asleep at 9:45 that night. It felt good to set a goal and accomplish it. I had a running partner that night, who is faster than I am. I tried to stay at her pace, which I think helped me out alot. Running with someone who is a little faster than you is a great motivation.
I'll be honest, I have slacked since that great run. Thursday I had class all day, so that was my excuse. Friday..well I can't remember what my excuse was. Saturday I went to kickboxing, and sunday I was SO sore from kickboxing, I could barely get out of bed to make it to church on time ( daylight savings didnt help much, either). But today, it is 70 degrees outside. NO EXCUSES! I plan on running 3 miles tonight, since I am still a little sore from saturday ( however, I can already tell that class is definatley going to get me in shape!).
There are 12 days until the 10k. Now I am confident I can do the entire thing. I'm still not going to worry about my timing. I'm just going to go out there and DO IT.
